2 days ago, the family went on a daytime bike tour with the Fat Tire bike company based out of Austin! The day after that, we did another bike tour that was at night time also with Fat Tire! The day tour had a lot more stops to learn about what we were looking at! The day tour also had a lot more easy, smooth, and level roads so it was a little easier than the night tour that had lots of bumpy and hilly roads. On the night tour, we stopped at the most delicious ice cream shop in Paris and maybe even France! I got Dark Chocolate, two scoops in a cone! Delicious! After that, we road our bikes to the Louvre and took lots of pictures! The night tour was not just bikes, we also did an hour boat ride down the Seine! It was VERY cold but worth it because we got to see the sparkling Eiffel Tower that only happens 5 minutes every night! One of the lessons from the night bike tour I will remember the most is that they repaint the Eiffel Tower every 7 years so it doesn’t get rusty and the next time they do it (in 2 or 3 years I think) they will change the color! Any one can vote on the color at the first floor of the Eiffel Tower and guess what is in the lead…………HOT PINK!!! I was angry… VERY angry. Anyways, here are some pictures:
