Movie Making in The Canal Saint-Martin!

Yesterday we decided that we wanted to explore new parts of paris so we went to the other side of town to a neighborhood called The Canal Saint-Martin. One bookstore caught our eye so we decided to go in. The bookstore was really neat, most of the books had to do with graphic design or photography or moviemaking. Once we came out though there was a real movie being filmed right outside the store! We sat down and watched them work for a while and watched a rather large guy steal a bike over ten times. The director was speaking in French so we weren’t sure what the move is called, but if you ever happen to be watching a bunch of French movies make sure to look out for us because we might have gotten into the shot just a few times.
